Who we are

Insider Academy Ltd (‘we’ or ‘us’) are a ‘data controller’ for the purposes of UK data protection legislation, (ie we are responsible for, and control the processing of, your personal information).

What information do we collect?

Information you Provide to us prior to ordering services from us

We will ask you to provide information to us when registering your interest on our site, and in response to any follow-up emails we send you. This will include your name, email address, phone number.

Additional Information Obtained when you order services from us

We will ask you for your full address. If you pay by bank transfer, we may obtain your bank account information.

Questionnaire Responses

We will ask you to complete a questionnaire before receiving any coaching sessions. We use this to improve the level of coaching service we give you. The questionnaire asks you questions regarding the subject matter of the coaching you have requested, and your data of birth.

Recordings of Coaching Sessions – Personal information provided by you

We record all our group Skype calls. We record one to one Skype calls with the consent of the customer. As part of receiving our coaching services, you may volunteer a wide variety of personal information on those calls. This could include personal sensitive data. Always bear in mind that the calls are being recorded, and that the recordings will be made available to all the other call participants and those who registered for the call but were unable to attend. This will be up to 30 other people for each group call. We will not use the recordings for any purpose other than providing them to you and these other people.

Personal information about other individuals

If you give us information on behalf of someone else, you confirm that the other person has appointed you to act on his/her behalf and has agreed that you can:

  • give consent on his/her behalf to the processing of his/her personal data;
  • receive on his/her behalf any data protection notices;
  • give consent to the transfer of his/her personal data abroad in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Use of cookies

A cookie is a small text file which is placed onto your computer (or other electronic device) when you use our website. We use Facebook and Google cookies on our website.

Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors. Who your information might be shared with

We may disclose your personal data to:

  • other companies within our group;
  • our email service provider, Infusionsoft.   • our hosting partner, Hostgator. Hostgator stores your data outside the European Union (including in the United States), and you have consented to our use of Hostgator for hosting purposes when you provided your information to us.

  • our business partners in accordance with the ‘Marketing and opting out’ section above; and

Keeping your data secure

We will use technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data, for example:

  • access to your account is controlled by a password and user name that are unique to you;
  • we store your personal data on secure servers; and

You can require us to correct any mistakes in your information which we hold free of charge. If you would like to do this, please:

  • let us have enough information to identify you (eg account number, user name, registration details), and
  • let us know the information that is incorrect and what it should be replaced with

Right to ask us to stop contacting you with direct marketing

You can ask us to stop contacting you for direct marketing purposes. If you would like to do this, please:
