Have you ever found yourself standing on the edge of a decision, your heart pounding, a slight tremor in your hands, uncertain of the path to take? Life can be daunting and, at times, it may seem impossible to make a move. But amid doubt and fear, remember this – all you have to do is start where you are and be BRAVE!

I remember standing in front of countless audiences, feeling just the same. The first few times, it was daunting, intimidating even, as I delved into the realm of personal development. But I discovered that the trick wasn't about being completely prepared or waiting for the perfect timing; it was about stepping up from where I currently was.

Albert Einstein once said, “life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance, you must keep moving.” Just keep moving, no matter how minuscule that step might seem. Your dreams, your ambitions, they're all waiting for you to reach out, grab them, and claim them as your destiny. Tap into your courage and prepare to seize the day.

Have you heard of Leonard Cohen? A poet, a songwriter, an author? His road to success was paved with obstacles, just like yours and mine. He didn't allow the challenges to deter him, he soldiered on, despite facing countless rejections of his work, even taking years to perfect a single song. His courage is a reminder that resilience and perseverance are key when embarking on any journey.

Over the years, through my venture Success Insider and mentoring countless individuals via the LMA course, I've seen the power of bravery. It is in confronting our fears, acknowledging them, and forging ahead anyway, that we truly grow. It is then that we turn challenges into stepping stones to success.

The path may not always be clear, intricate steps may not be laid out, but that shouldn't stop us from trying. Think of Edison and his 10,000 attempts to create the light bulb. What if he had thrown in the towel after the 1,000th attempt or the 5,000th? Can you imagine a world without his brilliance?

Breathe in deeply and think about your own journey. Think about where you're standing at this moment. Is it time for you to step out from your comfort zone? What would you achieve if you confronted your fears? Could you, perhaps, find your own light bulb moment?

Now, you might be wondering – but how? How do you foster courage? How do you be BRAVE when everything inside you screams otherwise? Here's a simple step to help anchor your courage – Believe in your ability to succeed. Be Resilient, Adaptive, Vibrant, and Engaged (BRAVE). Remember that each small step you make is a step toward your dreams.

It starts with embracing your fears, failures, triumphs, and everything else that makes you, you. The good, the bad, the ugly – take it all in and use it as fuel for your journey.

Very often, we shy away from beginning because end goal seems too daunting, too distant. But remember, every journey starts with a single step. Your first chapter could start right here, in this exact moment, if you have the courage to write it.

So, I implore you to embrace the uncertainty, the unchartered territory, the fear of starting – and start anyway. The beauty of life is in its unpredictability, in its ability to surprise us in the most extraordinary ways. And, it all begins when we muster the courage to take that first step from where we stand today.

It’s not about where we start, but the courage we summon to make a start. So, wherever you are, be brave and begin your journey today. From personal experience and from witnessing the experiences of others, I guarantee you, it is an expedition worth embarking upon.

As the puzzle pieces of your journey fall into place, remember each step, each stumble, every victory, and remember the moment you decided to be BRAVE. Hold onto that courage, and take it with you on every twist and turn of your incredible journey. It’s time to start where you are and be BRAVE! Prepare for an extraordinary journey, my friend. After all, our lives are unwritten until we decide to pick up the pen.
