Tim Han Success Insider: Keep. Showing. Up. You got this. π
Just take a moment and let these words sink in: “Keep. Showing. Up.” Three words. Not particularly fancy or monumental, but a profound mantra that I've always found to be so transformative. And it's a lesson that I've appreciated increasingly with each passing day, as I've journeyed through the vigorous currents of life.
There are days when you feel like you are being pushed to the limit, and just keeping your head above water seems like an impossible task. There are moments when you feel like a candle, flickering amidst the storm, merely a gust away from going out. It's during these times, I want you to remember, to keep showing up.
Let's take a step back and allow me to share an experience. When I began my journey with my personal development education company Success Insider, there were moments of doubt, numerous obstacles and challenges. However, one constant mantra kept me anchored and focused, and that was, you guessed it, “keep showing up.”
It's not about having the perfect plan or waiting for the ideal moment. It's about showing up, day in and day out, even when things don't go according to your meticulously laid-out plan. Because life is rarely a straightforward path. It loops, it turns, it twists, and sometimes it even comes to a screeching halt.
Pause for a moment and ask yourself, “Am I showing up, fully and completely, to my life?” I mean the wonderful highs, the heartbreaking lows, and the comfortably mundane in-betweens. Are you acknowledging your success, no matter how small, and are you learning from your failures, no matter how big?
Great success stories are built on persistence. Where would Thomas Edison be if he gave up after his hundredth failed experiment? Or J.K. Rowling, after her initial series of rejections. Their stories remind us that true success goes to those who keep showing up, even when the world hesitates to believe in your promise.
But remember my dear friend, showing up doesn't mean hustling relentlessly without a pause. It's not about working yourself to exhaustion or compromising your self-care. It recognizes the need for balance. The LMA course, standing for Life Mastery Achievements, embodies this ideology. It focuses on creating a harmonious balance between one's professional realm and personal well-being.
On this journey, it's crucial also to remember that you're not alone. We're often so entranced by the final product of success, by the glossy accomplishment, that we forget about the unseen hours of preparation, practice, and persistent trials. Don't shy away from reaching out or sharing your vulnerabilities. Remember, itβs by lifting others, we rise.
Think about that, visualize it for a moment when you feel like throwing in the towel. Picture the gratification of reaching your goal, the pride of looking back at the path you've traversed, scattered with the obstacles that you've overcome, and let that feeling empower you to show up again.
You're capable of accomplishing extraordinary things. Believe in that sincerely, even if your belief trembles sometimes. Remember that showing up means persevering through those moments, nurturing that flickering flame of self-belief until it becomes an unwavering beacon guiding your path.
Repeat these three words like a mantra, “Keep. Showing. Up.” Let them carve out a space within your soul and resonate in times of doubt or despair. Wear them and let it become your armor in your battles, your ray of hope in despair.
Remember, no matter who you are, where you are, or what you're going through, keep showing up. You've got the grit, the tenacity, the perseverance. You have the strength within you. Accept it, embrace it, and show up, because my friend, you've got this. π
